This piece chronicles a universal experience and emotion but it is not clear if the artist is filming this purely as a performance or is documenting a real moment of sadness. There is nothing untruthful about this, but it isn't an 'objective' record of someone's sadness or experience. It is completely mediated, it is also somewhat unsettling at times.
I think this is kind of silly, but also great. Another example of something that ultimately is documentary in that it is recording an event, and almost methodological in that it is recording a variety of options for the same event. But it is also completely mundane and somewhat mocking at times.
